Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Identity and contact details — name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, and any message you send
  • Enrollment details — course or sitting you want, exam part (I / II / III / interview), and notes needed to confirm your seat
  • Account details — login email and password if you register on the site
  • Payment details — we may receive confirmation that you paid (amount, date, method, reference). We do not ask you to paste full card numbers into WhatsApp or the contact form. Card data is handled by the payment provider you are directed to use, if applicable

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and referral source
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see “Cookies” below

Information from other sources

  • If you message us on WhatsApp or another channel, we keep the conversation needed to enroll you and support your course
  • If a payment provider or bank confirms your transfer, we may match that confirmation to your enrollment

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. These courses are intended for adult medical professionals and trainees.

How we use your information

We use personal data to:

  1. Respond to enquiries and help you choose a sitting
  2. Confirm enrollment after payment and message you with access instructions
  3. Provide course access — accounts, recordings, quizzes, and updates about your sitting
  4. Support you during the course (including follow-up on WhatsApp or email when you ask for help)
  5. Improve the website and fix technical issues
  6. Meet legal and accounting duties (for example keeping payment and invoice records)
  7. Protect the service against fraud, abuse, or unauthorized sharing of course materials

We do not sell your personal information.

Legal bases (where this wording applies)

Depending on where you live, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Contract — to enroll you and deliver the course you requested
  • Legitimate interests — to run and secure the website, answer messages, and improve our materials, in ways you would reasonably expect
  • Consent — where we ask for it (for example non-essential cookies, if used)
  • Legal obligation — where the law requires us to keep or disclose records

Who we share data with

We share data only when needed to run the service:

  • Teaching and support team working with Dr Ghada Badran (to deliver and support your course)
  • Website hosting and maintenance providers
  • Communication tools (email, WhatsApp, or similar) used to reply to you
  • Payment providers or banks involved in your enrollment payment
  • Professional advisers (for example accountants or lawyers) when required
  • Authorities if the law requires disclosure

If we use analytics or embedded media (for example YouTube), those providers may receive technical data as described in their own policies.

We do not share your data with unrelated advertisers.

International transfers

Your information may be stored or processed on servers outside your home country (for example where our host or tools are located). Where we do this, we take reasonable steps to protect your information in line with this policy.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected:

  • Enquiry messages — typically up to 24 months after the last contact, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing enrollment
  • Enrollment and payment records — for the course period and then for a reasonable accounting / legal retention period (often several years)
  • Account profile — until you ask us to delete it, or your account is closed and no longer needed
  • Technical logs — for a shorter security and diagnostics period

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where practical.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that may:

  • Keep you logged in and remember display preferences
  • Support security and spam protection
  • Help us understand how the site is used (if analytics are enabled)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect login or form features.

If we add non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this section and, where required, ask for consent.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion (where we are not required to keep it)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Receive a copy of data you provided (data portability), where applicable

To exercise these rights, email info@ghadabadran.com with enough detail for us to verify your request. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please keep your account password confidential and use a strong unique password.

Course materials are licensed for your personal study only. Do not share login details; sharing may lead to account suspension (see Terms of Service).

Third-party links

Our site may link to external sites (payment pages, social profiles, or video platforms). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before submitting data there.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy, where permitted by law.
